Greater Vancouver Area’s Own Superhero with Metal Detecting Superpowers — Chris Turner of Finders – Lost Jewellery

While doing some research on metal detecting2, I came across Chris Turner’s website for his Finders service for lost jewelery. You could call Chris Turner Vancouver’s very own Superhero with Metal Detecting Superpowers:

Isn’t this great?! :) Chris has many videos like that above which you can view on the Turners Treasure Team YouTube channel which I’ve started following. But it get’s better.

‘The jewellery recovery service is based on “Reward Only” [for the Lower Mainland], the same as if you placed “reward if found” in the lost column of your local newspaper. It costs you nothing if we can’t find it!’1

…and better still, 15% of all money made by Finders goes to charity.1

I really like the idea of Finders — Chris Turner has turned a passion into an additional revenue stream while helping others (see his “Book of Smiles” for proof of this) & giving back in other ways (charity). This is a great model to emulate. Please don’t go head-to-head with Chris here in the Greater Vancouver Area. However, if you’re a metal detecting hobbyist in other cities, I think following Chris’ lead is a great idea for creating an additional income stream while helping others.

Oh — and if you’v lost a metal valuable, contact Vancouver’s own Superhero with Metal Detecting Superpowers Christopher Turner.
